1. Scope and Applicability

This PCR covers foreground production of crude coconut oil from dried coconut kernel (copra) at an oil mill. The core route includes copra receipt and preparation, mechanical pressing, crude-oil clarification or filtration, and storage at the oil-mill gate. Solvent extraction of pressed cake is conditional and must be modelled only when used. The product remains unrefined and is intended for subsequent refining or technical processing.

The PCR excludes coconut cultivation, harvest, dehusking, shelling, and copra drying when these occur before the declared oil-mill gate; those stages require upstream datasets. It also excludes chemical or physical refining, bleaching, deodorisation, fractionation, hydrogenation, retail packing, distribution, use, and end-of-life. Virgin or cold-pressed coconut oil marketed for direct consumption, refined coconut oil, coconut milk or cream, and oils from other botanical sources are outside scope.
