1. Scope and Applicability
This PCR applies to foreground production of an extract or juice made from one declared animal species and one declared tissue or processing cut, classified under CPC 3.0 subclass 21185. A conforming data package shall lock exactly one product identity (extract or juice) and exactly one physical and concentration state. It shall not average different species, tissues, product identities, or market states into one reference product.
Covered routes include direct aqueous extraction, thermal extraction, pressing, and enzyme-assisted aqueous extraction followed, as applicable, by clarification, filtration, concentration, cooling, drying, packaging, and storage. The route actually operated shall be disclosed; unused cards are marked not applicable in the completed data package and are not assigned zero by assumption. When an actual species, tissue, ingredient, filtration medium, package component, co-product, waste, or emission is not represented by a card below, the producer shall add one new atomic row with one exact exchange identity before recording it.
The PCR excludes soups, bouillons, consommés, sauces, whole or cut meat and aquatic products, rendered animal fats, fish oil sold as the principal product, fish meal, gelatine, collagen, isolated amino acids, and products whose declared identity is neither an extract nor a juice. Upstream livestock production, capture fisheries, aquaculture, slaughter, landing, and primary cutting remain background systems represented by supplier-specific or otherwise appropriate upstream datasets.

When constructing a foreground data package, every item in Required qualifiers shall be declared in dataset metadata, process notes, the reference-flow comment, the product description, or an equivalent field.
