1. Scope and Applicability

This PCR covers extraction and gate supply of unagglomerated peat for fuel, horticultural or other material use. It covers milled particles and cut peat dried without agglomeration. The declared unit is a production mass reference, not an equivalence of fuel energy or horticultural service. Briquettes, coke, peat tar and formulated growing media are excluded. Different moisture and intended uses require separate dataset qualifiers. (un-cpc-3-2025; ipcc-wetlands-2006).
