1. Scope and Applicability
This PCR covers factory-gate production of completed interchangeable load-engaging or excavating attachments: buckets, shovels, grabs and grips made for cranes, excavators and similar machinery. It applies to welded plate constructions and to products incorporating purchased cast or forged wear parts. It excludes the host machine, hydraulic actuators sold separately, quick couplers sold separately, bulldozer blades, generic replacement parts not constituting the completed attachment, use, maintenance, distribution and end-of-life.
The foreground starts with purchased plate, purchased finished cast or forged parts when used, welding consumables, process gases, coating and electricity at the manufacturing site. Upstream production of these purchased inputs must be represented by separate supplier or background datasets. The product leaves the boundary inspected and ready for delivery, with its coating state declared.
