1. Scope and Applicability
This PCR covers the foreground manufacture of frozen fish meat, whether minced or not, from received fish, fish portions, or fish flesh through preparation, optional mincing, freezing, optional glazing, packaging, and frozen storage to the declared processing-facility gate. The data producer shall declare species, source production system, received form and temperature state, whether the product is minced, whether glaze is present, packaging format, geography, technology, and the frozen-storage period represented.
It excludes frozen fish fillets classified separately, whole frozen fish, fish livers and roes, surimi and formulated fish preparations, cooked, smoked, dried, salted, or otherwise preserved fish, and crustacean, mollusc, or other aquatic-invertebrate products. Fishing or aquaculture, landing, and manufacture of received upstream fish inputs are represented by upstream datasets rather than silently absorbed into this foreground process.
