# Meat of guinea fowl, frozen

## 1. Scope and Applicability

This PCR covers factory-gate production of guinea fowl meat that is frozen before dispatch. The foreground begins with accepted live guinea fowl at the declared slaughter-facility gate and includes reception, stunning, slaughter, bleeding, scalding, defeathering, evisceration, carcass dressing, applicable cutting and deboning, pre-chilling, freezing, frozen-product packaging, frozen storage, sanitation, wastewater management, and on-site utility generation when present.

Guinea fowl rearing, feed production, hatchery operations and inbound transport are linked upstream processes rather than foreground operations.
